Scouting For Food Campaign Concluded
Scouting's Annual campaign, Scouting for Food, concludes Saturday with Scouts from across the Council gathering the bags distributed in their neighborhoods. Scouts, Scouters and parents will then combine, sort and deliver the gathered food to local food banks.
Flaming Arrow’s New Bathhouse
One of the many capital improvements put in place during 2012 is a custom built bathhouse. With private showers and warm water, it's a great break from all the Scouting activities that go on here.
New Tents
Make your stay at Flaming Arrow Scout Reservation that much better by enjoying one of or our new tents, complete with cots and a fly that creates a porch at the front of the tent.
Play for Real
One of our goals within the Gulf Ridge Council is to provide an alternative for spending time in front of "the screens." Instead, we suggest that Scouts get outdoors and "Play for Real!"
Flaming Arrow’s Waterfront
Many of the activities the Gulf Ridge Council's flagship camp, Flaming Arrow Scout Reservation, center around the water! With three lakes, they are plenty of things to do to keep cool. From trying your luck (or skill) at catching a bass in our Fishing Lake (catch and release, please) to swimming, sailing, kayaking, canoeing or paddle boarding in the Swimming Lake, to water skiiing in the Ski Lake, there's lots to do here!
Every Boy Deserves a Trained Leader
There are numerous training classes schedule in the months ahead. From online courses to get your started to more complex trainings, our dedicated team of volunteers can help you learn what you need to be effective as a Scout leader. Sign Up for Day Camp or Twilight Camp
Online registration is now available for both Day Camp and Twilight Camp. The Council will host three day camps and seven twilight camps around the Council in early to mid-June. More information is available here.

Nestled between two lakes near the northwest Hillsborough County community of Odessa, Camp Brorein enjoys lots of shade and cool breezes under the span of these great oaks.
