The Gulf Ridge Council is comprised of eight counties on the west coast of Florida. Most counties have a corresponding district within the Council’s organizational structure. For the more populous counties, several districts may fall within the geographic boundaries of the county. The districts listed below are identified by the county or counties they contain.

• Allohak District: Pasco County
• Calusa District: Hardee and Highlands counties
• Lake Region District: the eastern half of Polk County
• New Fire District: the northeast section of Hillsborough County
• Thunderbird District: the western half of Polk County
• Timucua District: the southern half of Hillsborough County
• Tocobaga District: the northwest section of Hillsborough County
• Withlacoochee District: Citrus, Hernando and Sumter counties combined
